It is the intent of JHS to hire the best person available for any job vacancy in order to ensure that it has the staffing available to deliver the mandated services to the organization and fulfill the deliverables of funding contracts. To this end, JHS will follow generally accepted practices while abiding by the relevant legislation (i.e. Employment Standards, Bill of Rights, Employment Equity). This applies to indefininte contracts, part time, and definite contract positions and will also apply to decisions pertaining to promotions and training.
