Overview
The program will help one in thinking about the consequences of their choices and consider alternatives or options to follow instead of making choices that could lead back to crime.
It will help one to look at how choosing to be around some people (associates) can be a support that will help them stay away from crime.
It will help one look at how they think and how their attitude and beliefs affect what they feel and do.
The Program
Includes:
- 3 individual assessment sessions
- 26 group sessions
- 2 individual sessions
Covers:
- Assisting one to stop and think of the consequences & alternatives before taking action
- Solving problems and making decisions
- Setting goals and reaching them
- Identifying values, beliefs attitudes & thinking that leads to problems
- Identifying and evaluating the effects of people who have influence in one's life
- Creating networks of support
