The OBJECTIVES of the Community Intensive Supervision Partnership for clients are:
- To assist in the development of client specific case plans;
- To provide guidance and supervision to clientele as per the case plan;
- To assist the client in developing links with stakeholders such as the courts, other government departments, private and public agencies;
- To assist in the active recruitment of community programs and services for client attendance such as employment opportunities, leisure and recreational activities;
- To provide / refer counseling services (individual and group) that are required to address the client’s risk and needs level as per objective assessment;
- To enhance overall programs / services and public education through the utilization of trained, culturally sensitive volunteers;
- To utilize all reasonable alternatives to incarceration while ensuring public safety;
- To assist clients in accepting responsibility for and being held accountable to inappropriate actions and behaviors.
