Hart House is a residential facility that offers accommodations to federal and provincial offenders, day and full parolees and individuals on temporary absences. Hart House mandate is to offer a home-like environment to individuals in conflict with the law, providing an atmosphere where individuals can receive counseling, guidance, encouragement and support necessary for personal growth and development, which facilitates successful integration into society. The Community Residential Facility accommodates up to 15 males.
Grant Groupcare Home is a co-ed open custody residential centre for up to six young offenders between the ages of 12 - 18 years of age. All youth are supported in completing an individualized case plan designed to assist in their rehabilitative needs. Each case plan incorporates an educational component, cognitive behavioral programming, community involvement and family interventions.
Maloney Groupcare Home is a transitional community based residential home for individuals who require long term residential care with extensive life/ social skills training for future independent success. Residents who are emotionally and behaviorally challenged are provided a continuum of specialized opportunities encompassing motivation for treatment readiness, skill acquisition and 'real' life practice of skills enabling first steps toward a positive change in lifestyle.
The home is designed for people who require the availability of 24 hour care and supervision within a secure setting.
Douglas Lake Home(DLTC) is a long term specialized treatment center for youth with complex emotional and behavioral challenges and mental health difficulties. DLTC provides twenty-four hour, long term residential care with professional assessment, program planning, intervention and therapy for each resident. Individualized therapeutic treatment plans, developed by a treatment team of mental health professionals, guide the care of residents who have been unable to benefit from traditional mental health programs. Residents of DLTC require a higher level of support and supervision than is offered in a typical group home type of setting.
